Cookie Policy

We group cookies into three categories. Essential cookies are always on because the store cannot work without them; analytics and advertising cookies are off until you allow them.

Strictly necessary for security, the shopping cart, and core functionality. These do not require consent. They include:

• np_cart and np_cart_count: remember the contents of your cart between pages (stored in your browser).
• np_order_draft / np_order_confirmation: carry your order through checkout and confirmation.
• np_age_ack: remembers that you have seen the entry research-use notice so it does not reappear.
• np_cookie_consent: stores your cookie choices so we can honour them and not ask again on every visit.
• Authentication cookies: used only for staff signing in to the admin area.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed and how people move through the store — so we can improve it. These cookies (for example _ga and _ga_*) are set by Google only after you accept analytics cookies. Until then, no analytics cookies are placed and no analytics data is sent.

We use Google Ads to measure the performance of our advertising and conversions, so we can understand which campaigns are effective. These cookies are set only after you accept advertising cookies. We do not sell your personal information.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2. Until you give consent, Google’s tags are held in a denied state and set no analytics or advertising cookies; we additionally do not load Google’s scripts at all until you have allowed at least one non-essential category.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Opening the preferences panel lets you turn analytics and advertising cookies on or off:

Essential cookies cannot be switched off here because the store relies on them; disabling them in your browser may prevent ordering or checkout from working. You can also clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings.
